Barbara's endorsement was one of the several reason I chose to run. I always relied on her counsel as a citizen and when I was President of the HOA. She has always placed the citizens of Hollywood Park first and has encouraged me to do the same by serving as Mayor.

This is a decision for the citizens of Hollywood Park and I am proud to do so.

Dear Hollywood Park Neighbor:

My name is Tim McCallum and I am running for Mayor of Hollywood Park. As a proud 23 year resident of our community, I’ve seen both the good and the not so good that government can do. And as a current City Councilman, I have gotten to know our government from the inside.

Now I want to bring my vision for the future of our City to the Mayor’s office. I am asking for your support to help me lead Hollywood Park to a brighter future. I’ve got some big plans for our City.

I want to relocate and build a new community center adjacent to our City Hall. Moving the community center will make our facility more accessible to all events, and bring it closer to hotels for convention business. Relocating the community center will also ease the traffic problems in our residential areas. Best of all, we can use the existing Hotel-Motel Tax to fund and build this ambitious project, so it won’t cost you a penny.

Right now, we are also involved in talks with our neighboring city, Hill Country Village, on a new fire contract. We currently provide them fire coverage. In this new contract I intend to be firm but fair, ensuring the best deal for Hollywood Park.

And most of all, I want to listen to your concerns. I want to hear how you think I’m doing. I will never forget as Mayor, I work for you.
